Mesh Analysis 2

Image
Mesh Analysis 2 Here is a picture of our schematic.  Here are my calculations the value i got for Ii was -.322 amps and for the voltage i got 4.99 mV Here is the voltage i got for my circuit. it wasn't that far off from my calculated value. I forgot to take a picture for the value of the current, however the value i got was -.52 A. Which was off by a bit %error for V=(4.99-4.10/4.99*100=17.8% error %error for I=(-0.322+.52)/(-.322)*100=52% error I'm assuming the huge percent error in the current was due to not connecting the leads of the DMM to the approritate wires.

Nodal Analysis

Nodal Analysis Here is a picture of our circuit diagram.  Our value for v1 was 2.43 V and for v2 was 4.43 .   Here is the voltage we got for v1. We were pretty off our calculated value Here is the V for our v2. Same for this voltage our values were off compared to our prelab values we calculated. Here is a picture of our schematic. I'm assuming we did not calculate our values properly.

Dependent Sources and MOSFETs

Dependent Sources and MOSFETs  I didn't take a pic of the DMM with the true value of the resistor, but it's value was 98.9 ohms. Pictured is the diagram of the circuit Here is the table for the V vs I. Our threshold voltage was 13.7 V. The transistor is behaving like a voltage dependent source, because changing the voltage changes the current.  here is the plot of data, with a calculated value for g which is 7.157 Ohms. I calculated this value by finding the slope of the data.                                    Here is a picture of our breadboard

Solderless Breadboards

Solderless Breadboards This is the resistance i got when i connected the leads of the DMM to two holes in the same row. The value is .8 ohms which is really low. This operates as a short circuit.  When we connected the two rows of hole son opposite sides of the central channel we noticed that we had a really high resistance, this is because the leads are separated from each other which causes an open circuit. When we connected the leads in two arbitrary holes our DMM had a very large resistance, this is because again, the leads are isolated which causes an open circuit When we connected the leads with a jumper wire between the nodes our DMM read a very low resistance. The reason for this is because this configuration causes a short circuit.
